About Us
Your Neighborhood Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation on February 18, 1988. The stated objective and purpose of the Association is to enable its members to express and effectively pursue their desires
to preserve the Arcadia Camelback Mountain neighborhood as a residential area. The impetus behind the drive to formally organize was furnished by the efforts in 1986 to change the General Plan of Phoenix to allow for commercial, additional resort and multiple family zoning along Camelback Road between the east side of 44th Street and the west side of 64th Street and the efforts in 1987 to widen Camelback Road to seven lanes. Both of these efforts were defeated.
Since incorporation, your Association has been active in many venues pointed towards preserving the quality of life within Arcadia. Your Association appreciates your support! We look forward to continuing our efforts to ensure that Arcadia remains a very special place to live.
